Modern apartment on the second floor surrounded by trees that give the feeling of being in the forest. Perfect for couples, families and friends. The kitchen is equipped with appliances and utensils. Located less than 10 minutes away from the center of the Monteverde.
The place is located in a spectacular point, where you can see the sunset, the coast. It is next to the most popular park " AVENTURA" and in a strategic point (5- 10mintes aprox) between the most popular parks in Monteverde (Sky, Xtreme, Selvatura) In our place you can see different birds, monkeys and some other wild animals.

Take inconsideration the Monteverde is a mountain far away from the city and towns, so if you arrive late you will only see hills around you until Santa Elena, so please try to arrive the latest at 6pm (local time) if is your first time here because most of the time on the road will be not internet signal and street doesn’t have illumination or signals to guide you.

The surroundings were peaceful and the accommodations were comfortable, a place to unwind especially after the mountainous driving. Maria was very helpful and responsive via the app. We would highly recommend this place.

March 2026Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Le logement est propre et la vue par les fenêtres est splendide. On a vraiment l’impression d’être dans la nature, même à l’intérieur. C’est une très belle construction architecturale. Le chauffage dans la salle de bain est très apprécié, tout comme le déshumidificateur qui aide à réduire l’humidité. Plusieurs couvertures sont également fournies, ce qui est parfait pour les plus frileux. Le seul petit point négatif est une odeur difficile à identifier… peut-être liée à l’essence de bois utilisée ou à des produits nettoyants à base d’orange. Malgré cela, nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour.

Gamaliel gave us suggestions for restaurants which were amazing We really enjoyed relaxing on the balcony and the small gesture of bottle of wine on arrival went down nicely. March 2026Beau séjour à Monteverde avec vue splendide sur la nature et joli couché de soleil. Appartement plutôt propre, lits confortables et équipements fonctionnels. Débit de la douche assez faible, apparement normal dans la région selon l’hôte, mais tout de même un peu difficile pour se laver les cheveux après une journée d’excursion pluvieuse dans la forêt. Cependant, bon accueil de Gamaliel, très réactif et offre de bons conseils pour les activités à faire dans la région (d’ailleurs le logement est à deux pas d’une grande tyrolienne au dessus de la jungle, c’est magnifique !)

Plus petit que nous le croyions, mais quand même adéquat pour notre famille de 4. Des bouchons d’oreille sont utiles!

February 2026Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Monteverde. Gamaliel ist ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber und hatte viele tolle Empfehlungen für uns. Der Ausblick aus der Unterkunft ist wunderschön. Abends kann es frisch werden. Da die Küche und der Wohnbereich keine Heizung haben, sollte man sich dicke Kleidung einpacken. :)

January 2026Amazing place, however the doors latch but the safety person in me ensures latches actually work. If you push hard, the sliding doors from the deck from push open off the latch. To me, this is very dangerous. Anyone from outside can come and break in. The latches need to be re-enforced with a better latch or bolt to ensure the door cannot be opened with force. Also the hair dryer didn’t work and we got no reply back from Gamiel. We had to buy and place new batteries in remote control. No big deal but just little details they should look out for. Other than that, amazing place and totally worth it!! ????

January 2026Absolutely loved our stay! The large windows allowed us to feel fully immersed in the beautiful surroundings. We were able to see toucans and other gorgeous birds. Location was very close to town and the instructions were very clear. Drinks on the balcony for sunset were 10/10. Would definitely recommend this place, and stay here in the future! Gamaliel was very responsive and sent over great recommendations and general information for us ahead of time and during our stay.

December 2025I enjoyed this spacious feeling unit with big windows and high ceiling, pleasantly outside the hustle and bustle of town. It was easy to get to all the hikes and attractions, even coming home at night in the dark was fine. There's a bump up to the entry gate that's a bit hard coming from the one direction. It rained and rained while I was there, and I loved sitting in the bedroom, wrapped in the warm blankets provided, looking out over the farmers field at the blowing grass and trees. Very windy! Travelling solo, Gamaliel helped me feel comfortable and safe. Do be sure to let them know if you don't like a plug in air-freshener. I appreciate there were screens on the windows so I could leave them open for fresh air. Likely because of the rain and clouds there was not always hot water for the shower. Though my shower's were quick, it was fun to feel I was in the jungle with the glass wall. I would have happily stayed longer.

December 2025Eine tolle Wohnung etwas abseits von Santa Elena mitten in der Natur, mit tollen Blick und direkt neben einem Reservat gelegen wo man Zipline machen und Wildlife Touren machen. Der Weg dahin war durch die Nässe etwas schlammig und ein SUV ist von Vorteil. 4x4 ist nicht nötig. Bis nach Santa Elena fährt man ca. 10min. Ein toller Ort zum entspannen.

A bit out of town on a rough road, but easy enough to get to Monteverde and great for visiting the Santa Elena Reserve. Amenities were adequate but basic. Beautiful views from the balcony. Perfect spot for a few days exploring MonteVerde! Amazing to be able to walk to 100% Adventura (highly recommend) but a shame not much else walkable

De locatie is heerlijk & precies wat we nodig hadden na een lange hike en een reis richting pacific de volgende dag. Van de douche, de bedden, kussens, slaapkamer met balkon en de krijtmuur met berichten van andere reizigers, het is helemaal af. De fles met wijn die klaarstond hebben we achtergelaten voor de volgende, maar is zeker op prijs gesteld.

July 2025This is a nice place in a beautiful and natural surroundings. Gamaliel’s apartment was clean, with everything we needed for our three night stay. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the sky change colors at sunset and having our morning coffee outside as well. Gamaliel is an outstanding host. There was an issue our first night with a tree branch constantly hitting the roof because of the wind. We alerted Gamaliel and she had someone there the next day cutting branches away from the roof and it was perfect the rest of our stay. We enjoyed our stay here and in Monteverde.

On our last morning, we were visited by a large group of curious white faced monkeys that were playing and looking at us through the glass. Note: It was convenient to have a car to stay in this property as it is not in the main business area. We personally liked being in a more remote area.

May 2025We stayed at this place in Monteverde and loved it! It’s a bit out of town, but that just made it feel like a private wildlife retreat. We got to see white-faced monkeys hanging out right outside our window in the early morning – how cool is that? The house is on the second floor, and parking was super convenient. Our host was amazing – she was always asking if we needed anything and really made an effort to be part of our experience. She even left us a bottle of wine to enjoy. Such a great stay!

February 2025A really lovely property. We loved being on the 1st floor as it felt like we were up in the treetops. The bedrooms were lovely, it’s all very open and light with massive windows all around. We were visited by monkeys and lots of birds. It was about a 10 min drive into Santa elena with all the restaurants. There was also one of the zip lining places literally down the drive way. The property was nice and private, we loved the views. It was exactly as described!

January 2025Maria Fernanda est une hôte proactive, conviviale et qui avait à coeur que l'on passe un beau séjour. Les indications étaient claires et la communication était très fluide. Le logement est magnifique (tout vitré) et de qualité. A noter qu'il peut faire froid un peu (pas de chauffage), mais il y a un déshumidificateur et amplement de grosses couvertures douces pour se tenir au chaud lors des journées plus fraîches et pluvieuses. Magnifique logement et super hôte ! J'y retournerais avec grand plaisir

Right next to lots of adventure areas. About 10 mins from town so you’ll need a car. A bit of a bumpy road so helps if you have a 4x4 but not necessary. Please stay! Beautiful and peaceful

Maria was very responsive, there was no heating in the unit but a portable one was delivered to us promptly and worked fine. There was heavy rain during our stay and with a metal roof the noise level was a bit high, so bring earplugs for sleeping just in case.

The cable tv did not work despite being an advertised amenity, and when I tried to address it with the host, she contacted AirBnB suggesting I might leave early. I never indicated a plan to leave early, so that felt quite stressful. And the folks in the identical unit below us paid significantly less than we did.

May 2024Our stay here was fantastic. We were only here one night but when we walked in the place was much bigger than I thought based on pictures. And it had so much deck space!! They have a fully stocked kitchen and were responding within minutes when we had any questions. Their place was immaculate, separate living space and sleeping space. Bed is more comfortable in the bedroom with the bunks than the primary bedroom, so if you’re a couple grab that. Would stay here again in Monteverde!!!

August 2024Everything was more than perfect! The beautiful view (especially from the bathroom!), the comfy beds and the great kitchen, it was so much more than expected. We definitely hope to come back one day!
